Midway through the 2006 National Championship, Rayomand Banajee put into action a long cherished dream. Always having wanted to help other drivers, Rayomand started Rayo Racing to guide, promote & give deserving drivers the right backing & training to excel in the sport. Besides this, ofcourse the Team would subsidise the driver’s participating expenses.
Speed – India’s premier brand of high performance petrol, immediately saw a lot of promise in the outfit & decided to sponsor the team & therefore the name ‘Speed Rayo Racing’ was created for the year 2006.
From the word go – Speed Rayo Racing set the pace & eventually went on to become National Champions in both the Team & Driver categories. The accolades of the team –
